User Interface Design
About This Project

The concept for this UI design was conceived for an e-learning module, specifically designed to be used on an iPad. The course was first published on Udemy and a couple of interested parties wanted to see the course that is mostly video, made available in a multimedia format as well to make it more accessible to more learners.

The colour scheme and icon style was chosen for maximum user appeal and eye comfort. The warm oranges are engaging and inviting, while the use of grey is stabilising and calming. The splash screen is designed to welcome the user to the learning experience with confidence, while being put at ease with the playful, yet informative illustration. On the Welcome page, there is a visual map of the whole course where the user can select the chapter they wish to access from a menu of icons. The icons were chosen for the colourful and inspirational nature. The subtle pattern in the background quietly instill a feeling of balance and intellectual growth.

Included in this course are question and answer modules where learners can test their knowledge and understanding of the material. The possibility of challenging oneself, makes the material more engaging for learners and helps to establish goals in the learning process.
